16 days… or less?

Well, we’re down to 16 days on the c-section countdown.  However, since all the action on Saturday, I’m thinking it might be sooner than that!  We had really severe weather on Saturday and it damaged both of our vehicles and our house… through all the excitement, I started having contractions.  I’ve had them off and on since Saturday, but today they’ve gotten more regular.  They’re still 15-20 mintues apart, though, and at times, I’ll take an hour break.  I don’t know if they are false labor contractions or if they’re the real thing.  Anyone?

I’ll go Friday for my regular check-up, so we’ll find out if all the contractions have actually made me have any progress.  I thought about going to the doc today because I’d love for them to check me and tell me I’m dilating!  Oh… I’m SO ready.

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted- unless I go into labor and hit the hospital, in which case I would not be updating my blog for a few days…  but somehow I’ll let ya know.

Come on, baby Ellie!!  We’re ready for ya!

  • I promise that my phone is charged, and ready for that call. I don’t care if it’s 1:00 in the morn, you call me!!!! Or, better yet, you have someone call me. I don’t think that you will want to talk very much. I think you might be having Braxton Hicks, it’s what it sounds like anyway. Make sure you drink lots of fluids! They will slow them down a little. At least they did for me. But, I predict you might go by the end of next week. We will see!! ;)
    OOHHHH…..I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called you from my Mom’s the other day during that storm on Saturday. I was very concerned because we got lots of hail, and I saw that the Tornado was bearing down on Rutledge. What a scary day. Both Friday night and Saturday!! Anyway, I am counting down the days with ya!!! Love ya.

Congratulations on the coming baby, God bless your grace-fullness in the loss of Abby. Is that her picture at the top of your blog? She is so small.
I just wanted to write good wishes to you, and take part in the fabulous community of websters out there.
